That's it.... He was originally scheduled to return near the end of this year however, things are hotting up and his schedule is being almost continually re-drawn - with the latest, overtaking the end of the year.

and the little show in Star City (where we were told to expect only around 50, because thats how many had turned up for all other artists up to that time!! - it was broadcast via the big screens so they didnt have to be there. This is about 5/7 of the crowd, it was still a little to major buildup)

The snowball has really started rolling , what an exciting time it is :D
These request shows will send Guy off with a bang . He deserves all the success coming his way :wub:

Guy's #5 album will still be released here towards the end of the year , can't wait to hear all the new material :)

he's lost his voice somewhat but still brilliant - interview (VERY interesting) and song, separately.


We got a three hour show in Sydney on the Friday Live & By Request, in total we got 46 songs over the shows (that we can remember, to date)

the new songs are awesome (see his facebook and myspace)

There's so much more in the pipeline coming

My faves are still prob. acapella "Amazing Grace" southern style, from the roots

"I've Been Loving You Too Long" (Sydney show), when Guy just on keys, where he played like David Helfgott and sang like Otis and it was just astounding, one of those perfect moments

We got him on guitar, keys and drums

and "Just Bring Yourself" in Gold Coast show was pure blues, absolutely perfect :wub:

(not to mention "Magic", "Perfection" and a few other things)

:D loved meeting up with you again Rhonda. We gotta lunch soon.

And Jillz! WHY did WE not meet up??? I must PM you soon over on the main forum. If we were close, I do apologise - I had the gastric flu type virus for the first few shows. Besides attending the two in Melbourne, I slept and drank water for roughly 2-4 days, finally coming good around late Wednesday, before the Sydney shows.

There's a great interview, was in "Just Added", plus he sang later. As Guy was singing almost non-stop during the time he spent in Australia, this was one instance where he had little voice left (and yet several days later he was in ENORMOUS voice) - he and Carl still make the performance quite beautiful however.

Can't wait for the DROM shows - we're for the 20th and 27th!!

Amazing is all I can say , the only show I got to was the Saturday Melboune one but man o man what a concert . Guy never ceases to astound me, with not only his vocals but his humour and abilities to draw the audience to him. He is the absolute and complete entertainer :)

Prins I did see you at Melbourne , you even sat on my lap when you were talking to Lyn at some point in the night :D
