Idol finalists mull making music together


Could this year's Australian Idol finalists become the male version of the Young Divas?

Teale Jakubenko, who was eliminated this week, says he and the remaining male trio of Wes Carr, Luke Dickens and Mark Spano have discussed making music together when the TV show is over.

"We're just like bros hanging out and we have to do a gig every weekend," Jakubenko said.

"Whoever wins we'll praise them ... We'll all hang out after the show and maybe make some music together."

If they did join together they would follow in the footsteps of previous female Australian Idol finalists who went on to form the pop group The Young Divas.

Jakubenko says that while Carr was the overwhelming favourite to win the Network Ten competition, Dickens and Spano shouldn't be discounted.

"The whole time I obviously thought that Wes was going to win and everything, but I think the top three - it could be anyone," he said.

"I would not be shocked for any one of them to win now. They're all really great."
