Ricki-Lee Coulter and husband Jamie Babbington to split

ANOTHER day, another showbusiness split... with news that Ricki-Lee Coulter is to separate from her husband Jamie Babbington, after just a year of marriage.

The couple issued a joint statement this afternoon, citing distance and time apart as reasons for their split.

The couple have stressed that the split is of an amicable nature and that they fully intend to remain friends, after spending more than seven years together.

The couple married in September last year, after getting together as childhood sweethearts.

And, inevitably, they've asked for privacy during "this difficult time".
