Finally heading to court ... Cosima De Vito will face her former two managers, who are suing her, in the NSW Supreme Court.
IT has been a long time coming, now former Australian Idol singer Cosima De Vito is set to meet her two former managers in the NSW Supreme Court. Following a long-running dispute with ex-managers Ted Gardner and Con Nellis, including three years of court appointed mediation, a date of November 10 has been given for the matter to be heard.
Nellis and Gardner, who managed De Vito's career after the original Idol series in 2003, are seeking more than $500,000 in lost earnings.
Their lawsuit will allege that the singer made their professional roles "untenable".
De Vito has previously lodged a counter claim, stating that the management team was "negligent" in guiding her singing career.
The case is set to be heard by Justice Patricia Bergin.
