IT is crunch time for two WA contestants on Australian Idol.

Tonight viewers will get the chance to see 17-year-old sales assistant Brooke Wilkie from Waikiki, near Rockingham, perform for a chance to make the final 12.

On Wednesday's show she will find out whether she has made the cut.

Wilkie sings and plays guitar, bongos, harmonica and didgeridoo. She can dance, writes comedy, loves to draw and can even yodel.

When not working as a chemist assistant she regularly performs at open-mic nights and festivals in Perth and Rockingham and hits the streets busking with her brother in Rockingham and Fremantle.

Jonny Taylor is WA's other final 12 hopeful.

He is a 22 year-old ceiling fixer from Perth and a dramatic turn of events changed his life forever.

Taylor will be performing on Idol on Thursday and will find out on Friday whether he is in the top 12.
