IN the nation's other huge vote this weekend, the Australian Idol final tonight will draw an estimated two million viewers.

The final showdown between Natalie Gauci and Matt Corby on the steps of Sydney's Opera House, will also see former Idol contestant Shannon Noll and Idol winner Damien Leith take the stage during the televised outdoor concert.

In the Sydney versus Melbourne challenge, 17-year-old Corby, of Cronulla, has attracted some controversy recently after admitting he is not a fan of the winner's single, Here I Am, Fairfax newspapers report today.

He has told Fairfax newspapers he is not confident about facing off against Gauci, the 26-year-old finalist from Melbourne.

Rogue Traders and the recently reformed Divinyls will also perform in the concert that kicks off at 7.30pm (AEDT) on Network Ten.
