Tonight's final contestants, Natalie Gauci and Matt Corby, have talent by the bucketloads. They are spunks and they can sing (most of the time) but there are blandness issues in both camps.

Viewers have strained mentally to stop themselves reaching to the screen to brush Corby's pillow-head haircut from his eyes. Gauci, who suffers from that most perennial of TV celebrity Achilles' heels - being a woman - has had her appearance picked apart unpleasantly and relentlessly by Kyle "Mr Fashion" Sandilands.
