AUSSIE MTV award winner Shannon Noll – yes we can't stop going on about how he beat Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake for best male performer – has now scored a gig at this month's NRL Grand Final.

Apparently the original Oz Idol runner-up will be rocking the halftime crowd with his hit single Loud, which has already become the unofficial league anthem, before watching the Cowboys steal the title in the final quarter (OK, that last bit may be just wishful thinking).

Shannon has been in Bris Vegas staying at the Sofitel since Wednesday ahead of last night's performance of War of the Worlds at that place in the swamp at Boondall. He's expected to leave the Sunny State later today.
