SOMEONE has beaten-up beatboxer Joel Turner. The Australian Idol aspirant was apparently set upon during a house party in Brisbane last weekend.
The vocal doof-doof boy has a broken jaw and is taking his meals through a straw.
He was allegedly assaulted while trying to break up a fight and was admitted to hospital where doctors wired up his jaw.
Ironically, Joel was about to embark on a national schools' tour to highlight values and respect to teenagers, which he's had to postpone for several weeks while he recovers.
"This is a big setback to my career, but as soon as my jaw has healed, I'll be back beat boxing hard out," Joel vows.
