Millsy In The MintHerald Sun
July 23, 2007
SINGLE lad Rob "Millsy" Mills is getting lots of attention from the ladies, but it's just another day at the office.
The Melbourne singer has signed as one of four co-hosts on Channel 9's new late-night interactive game show, The Mint.
He'll team up with former Wine Me, Dine Me presenter Cherie Hausler, model Natalie Garonzi and actor Nathaniel Buzolic for the network money-spinner and successor to Quizmania.
Produced from Nine's Richmond bunker, The Mint will rival Big Brother's slab of air time, with 17 live - and unscripted - hours a week over five nights from next Monday.
Mills is OK with the midnight starts, declaring that as a muso, it's when he's at his peak.
"I couldn't think of better housemates to work with and we're looking forward to having a lot of fun in the Mint mansion together," Mills said.
"Being live television, one never knows what's going to happen, so it's all very exciting."
The Australian Idol favourite will also host the Do It with Denim fashion parade at Chadstone next Sunday at 2pm.
The fundraiser for the annual Jeans for Genes Day will feature clothes made from recycled materials by student designers.
