Bride-to-be, much to do

RICKI-Lee Coulter is about to relaunch her solo career, but she also has another pressing issue -- organising her wedding.

Coulter is preparing to marry fiance Jamie Babbington in September on Queensland's Gold Coast as she releases her single, Can't Touch It.

Coulter told Confidential she couldn't wait for the wedding.

"It's very exciting and I can't believe it's just two months away and I haven't done much," she said.

"But I know it will go ahead and it's going to be great, and then I'm going on a holiday on an island."

Coulter doesn't regret leaving the Young Divas last month and is happy to talk about her run-ins with Kate DeAraugo.

"We've all had our ups and down and Kate and I have been the target of catfight rumours, but it was never anything dramatic," Coulter said.

"It was more like little things, like who would have the last slice of pizza or sit in the front seat, things that happen when you're spending so much time together.

"The girls are three friends of mine and always will be, and they are very supportive of what I'm doing and I am of them."

Jessica Mauboy is expected to become Coulter's replacement.

She is likely to join the group after she finishes her year 12 studies in the Northern Territory.

Coulter was excited to honour her Australian Idol judge, Marcia Hines, at the Aria Hall of Fame Awards last night.

"She was someone that really believed in me," she said.
