AUSTRALIAN Idol runner-up Jessica Mauboy is the hot favourite to be named the new Young Diva.

It's expected Jessica will be named as the replacement for Ricki-Lee Coulter who quit the group last month to concentrate on her solo career.

Like the other divas, Kate DeAraugo, Emily Williams and Paulini Curuenavuli, Jessica is signed to record label Sony/BMG.

Landing the role would surely be a huge boost to her career.

Young Divas manager David Champion has said the new diva was "not 100 per cent confirmed".
