IT sounds like a broken record, but the on-again, off-again relationship of songbird Paulini Curuenavuli and her footy bad boy ex Wes Naiqama appears to be back on, after they were spotted sharing a dinner for two on Sunday night.
The Young Divas singer had been a solo act for just six weeks, after management confirmed her split from the troubled St George player last month.
But shortly after returned from performances in Perth last weekend, the star was seen out on the town with her ex, sharing oysters and steak at a Sylvania restaurant.
The relationship has proved a hard habit to break for the bootylicious performer, who has stood by her man through a series of public scandals.
Their romance hit the headlines on a wrong note almost a year ago, when the Australian Idol star was allegedly sporting bruises, which prompted her family to complain to Naiqama's team about the couple's "personal issues.''
Police were called to the next incident, when he unleashed a tirade of verbal abuse at the singer outside a Sydney nightclub.
But she was back by Naiqama's side in March when a Sydney court sentenced him to 12 months' periodic detention after he was found guilty of driving while disqualified.
He is currently appealing against the sentence.
Curuenavuli's singing career has so far survived the disharmony of her private life, despite scoring little public support on Channel 7's It Takes Two celebrity karaoke contest.
Her pairing with Lochie Daddo was ill-fated too, dumped after just one week of this year's elimination series.
