Roxy gives Sophie the Push


POPSTAR Roxane Lebrasse pushed back into the mix yesterday after 62 per cent of readers in Confidential's online poll voted for her version of the track Push It over Sophie Monk's.

Record company Universal this week revealed they'd shelved Lebrasse's Sexy track over its coincidental clash with Monk's Biofit:Bra song, but the poll proves there is still listener demand for the Australian Idol product.

After pushing for chart success for several years, Sexy was the result of a year's work for the singer - all of which was dashed this week when Universal burst her pop bubble.

"It's been a hard week but I'm all cried out now - I'm just hoping it will all work out,'' Lebrasse told Confidential.

"Sophie and I are doing different things and I'm just really hoping Universal will realise it's worth them reconsidering their decision,'' she said.
