Or should that be his finger?
Now the Albury country performer and 2006 Australian Idol favourite has been invited to create an artwork for a new breast cancer research fundraiser in Tamworth.
“It was the first time I’d painted anything since I learned how to finger paint,” Livy said.
With a little help from Albury artist Catherine Jardine, Livy created Three Love, a striking abstract work encompassing the themes of country music and Australian nationhood.
More than 40 country performers were invited to create paintings or drawings for the Country Art for Cancer fundraiser Ancer 4 Cancer, part of July’s Tamworth Hats Off to Country Music Festival in July.
The works will be displayed in Tamworth in the lead-up to the festival.
All will be auctioned with proceeds going to The Cancer Council NSW.
