Casey is 'no loser'

OVERWEIGHT Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan has dismissed "mean" reports she was rejected by The Biggest Loser.

"I did not try out," the 2004 Idol winner says.

"I think that was someone's mean little murmur that they decided to put in.

"Why the hell would I try out for that? "That's too punishing.

"What I'm doing now is nothing like that. It's not an overnight thing, it's a life-changing thing that I'm enjoying."

Donovan, 18, says she has lost 15cm from her waist after 10 weeks of trying to turn her life and singing career around with the help of former ironman Guy Leech.

Casey has a five-song comeback EP due out later this year.
