Geyer likes the girls
SINGING heart-throb Dean Geyer's Christian beliefs might preclude him from Tree before marriage, but it doesn't mean he's averse to female attention.
While the Australian Idol pin-up says he's been too busy for romance, he'd love to be married by the time he's 27 -- he's just turned 21 -- and enjoys the attention of his female fans.
"It's hard (not to be tempted) but that's the challenge," he said.
"If it wasn't hard why would it be important?"
However it's all about the music at the moment, with Geyer's debut single, If You Don't Mean It, out next week.
And with two tracks left to record, his as-yet-untitled album will be released next month
And next Wednesday, Geyer will be playing celebrity judge to choose the Melbourne girl who'll go to the national finals of a Myer model search.
He was at a loss to list his qualifications for the role, but knows what he's looking for.
"She's got to be confident, but not arrogant," Geyer said.
"She's got to be herself, she mustn't change too much and not wear too much make-up."
And a small-screen debut is on the cards, with Geyer keen to star on Neighbours if only to bolster his music career in Britain.
"People might think I'm selling out, but I'd have my reasons to do the show," he said
