Cathedral turns to Idol

IT will be a case of "Idol worship" when reigning Australian Idol winner Damien Leith performs in a Hobart cathedral this month.

Leith will take part in the "Concert@TheCathedral" gig at St Mary's Cathedral on March 31, which will launch the cathedral's restoration fundraising campaign.

Concert@The Cathedral will be held from 8pm at the cathedral in Harrington St, Hobart.

The concert will also feature Tassie guitarist Cary Lewincamp.

Tickets at $50 each are on sale from the TSO box office, phone 1800 001 190, or via the internet on www.tso.com.au.

All proceeds from the concert will go to the restoration of St Mary's Cathedral.

St Mary's is a lovely old place. It will be nice to see it fully restored :)
