Dean may have Axle to grind

HEART-THROB Dean Geyer is rumoured to be on the verge of replacing Axle Whitehead as Video Hits host.
The Idol pin-up has already announced his interest in the gig and manager David Champion yesterday hinted the singer had a TV project in the pipeline.
"It's too early to confirm anything yet ... (but) Dean has received some very interesting offers,'' he revealed.
"He has received some film offers and some substantial TV offers.''
Meanwhile, Channel 10 refused to deny claims Geyer was about to sign on with the network.
"Dean Geyer is very talented, you never know what opportunities may arise,'' a Ten spokesman said.
