Dicko comes around againDecember 04, 2006
IS it just us or does Channel 10's newest old recruit Dicko change his mind a lot?
It was only a few years back that Dicko was talking up Australian Idol and the contestants non-stop.
Then he left the show and made an immediate U-turn.
You couldn't shut the bloke up when it came to all the reasons he didn't want to be a part of the show any more.
He told the Herald Sun last year that he was no longer listening to popular music and had been a blubbering mess during the filming of the first season of Idol.
"When I sit there and say what I actually think to these kids, I lose a bit . . . I lose something as a human being."
He was recently quoted in a lad's mag as saying: "There were times when I thought I should have stayed on. Then I saw some of those tragic wankers going off to the auditions the other week. That's when I thought, I wouldn't want to still be listening to that racket all day."
Then this week, Dicko swung the car around again, left Channel 7 in his wake and signed up for another year with Idol.
Who can keep up?
