Confidential yesterday tracked down the young lady dating Idol heart-throb Dean Geyer, but she wouldn't utter one word about the time she has spent with the bloke thousands of girls would love to meet.

The sales assistant, known only as Mel, caught Geyer's eye while he was indulging in some retail therapy with Idol pal Ricky Muscat at Westfield Bondi Junction a few weeks ago.

They have since been on several dates, including a romantic dinner in Bondi on Friday night.

But Mel was touchy rather than offering a touchdown when we called her at the shop yesterday, only saying "I'm not talking about it."
