Greetings From Idol Backstage,



Well well well, it’s hard to remember a performance show with such outstanding efforts by all the Idols. Two touchdowns in a night says it all.

But more importantly, this is the week in which the idols are finally allowed to show us their true colours. Last night, they could play their own instruments. And on Tuesday they’ll be performing their own compositions. That’s an Idol first, anywhere in the world.

In honour of this landmark occasion, today and tomorrow on Idol Backstage we delve into what the Idols’ songs really mean to them.

It’s the first time that each Idol has sat down individually to discuss the same thing – how they wrote the personal song they’ll sing on Tuesday, what it represents to them, and how their creative songwriting process works. The creative spark is different for everyone.
