JUST days after his wife Rochelle gave birth to their third child, Shannon Noll was back in a Sydney studio yesterday and preparing to leave new daughter Sienna at home as he heads back out on the road.
Recording the duet "Don't Give Up'' with Natalie Bassingthwaighte - first sung by Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel - for an upcoming Christmas charity album, Nollsy said the new addition to his family was "a ripper''.
"She's a sleeper. It's great,'' he said.
But the Condoblin Kid will have to spend at least a fortnight away from his new pride and joy from next week when he begins his touring slot with US rockers Live.
"It is really hard. My wife's been fantastic though. Her mum's up at the moment and my mum was up as well. They helped out in every way, it's been terrific,'' Nollsy said.
"It wasn't any hassle, (Rochelle) said 'go out and do it' because she knows how much I love the band and am looking forward to it.''
Bassingthwaighte flew to Melbourne last night to take boyfriend Cameron McGlinchey
- the drummer in her band Rogue Traders - out to dinner to celebrate his birthday before she leaves for the UK for promotional duties today.
