THE latest Australian Idol evictee, Lavina Williams, has slammed judge Kyle Sandilands' constant comments about weight and image, saying they can cause serious damage in the community.



This season, Sandilands has criticised the weight of Jessica Mauboy and commented badly on Idol winners Casey Donovan and Kate DeAraugo.
"What kind of message are you trying to send to the young ones?" Williams said.

"What about the anorexia types that are trying to be like models, who are going about it the wrong way.

"Or the guys that are committing suicide because of the way they look.

"That is the last thing that should be on people's minds."

Williams said she saw Sandilands as the "older brother she never had", but had nothing nice to say about the Mauboy "lose the jelly belly" remarks.

"I said to Jessica, you are an inspiration to all the young girls out there," Williams said.

"You know some of the girls are shooting up because they are depressed."
