Hi everybuddy!!!

this week its *essential* there is stocks on the shelves

and those stocks are in the right #3 spot

so if everyone can squeeze in time early
to check all local stores have decent stocks
that would be fantastic

if you cant get there please at least ring round

if you find it lacking or dont get much response, di and I have had great success talking to head offices rather than shop assistants!

Thats great that the shops are stocked up just hoping they are getting empty as well.

Why could'nt they have been stocked up on the right day STOOPIED is this the way it works all the time even with the albums or does it only happen to aussie artists!

Nothing at Big W QV (Melbourne) this morning. I was told they'd sold out but were getting more "later in the week" whatever that means.

I couldn't find anything on the shelves in JB Elizabeth Street either, but when I asked a guy on the floor he reached into a box and pulled one out. He was just about to restock the shelf.

My stomach is in a knot about TSB though. I've been asking so many people if they've heard it and the answer is usually 'No.'

well still some stores not stocked up!

found TSB under no. 6 - while someone had spread another all along - it was an overseas artist.

Unfortunately - there was a someone doing something nearby and No no. 3 sign anywhere so I moved a couple higher.

They were actually in a good possie and also spread out, but

the colours used are pretty prevalent at the moment. I really didn't spot them at first.

But a nice lot.

:) my local Rock FActory shop got in new stock yesterday- about another 20 and were about to put them on the shelves as I walked up to the counter to ask for TSB.

well just got home
usual highs and lows....

kmart has it at no 2! that was my high

there are stocks for the most part

target store finally has it but only 2

Im hopeful that means a lot has sold quickly
cos they were being sent a lot
Ill have to follow that one up again

My local Target had 5 left after Heather and my visits.
Had a screwed up week, so it's the only chance I've had
to get to the shops. Planning a cd shop crawl on Friday. :D

she was a really friendly sweet girl who never asked or wondered
why I would ring up, very helpful!

SONY are aware of stock shortages/problems and are making it an urgent priority (or words to that effect basically)

Went back into Kmart today after being told yesterday that they probably wont get any more and that they didnt have any. Got a new girl who looked out the back and found me 1 copy. She said that they may be getting more in but probably not till Friday!!!

Cant check other stores till Friday.


If Sony make this a priority i have hopes.

Sony are totally aware of the need to ensure maximum coverage at retail and are working on that as a matter of some urgency,

basically dont call us, we will call you (which I totally understand
and normally abide by, however we are at ground level and can actually see whats happening)

anyhow lets leave it in sonys hands now but can keep posting
problems/shortages on the forum and do our bit (if we had a forum that is)

Havn't seen it at Target in WA at all.

Asked at Morley store, she said it hadn't come in yet, they all came from over East.

Said she was a Guy fan & waiting too :o Not sure if I beleived her, but might ring tomorrow & see why there is none.

Virgin said no more singles but would get the album.
K mart at Morley had quite a few.

Trax couldn't see any, didn't have time to wait & ask. Sorry.

Went into both JB HIFi and Myer yesterday and both had no Tsb singles asked in JB if they had it and the girl didn't even know who sung it :(
She searched around for a few minutes and then said they'd have to order some more in.

I can tell you now that Kmart do not order the stock so its usless ring head office. Also Target. I think you will find that the head office PR was trying to make you feel better,,

Sony rep does all the ordering and stocking.... :angry:

Was listenig to Kylie and JackieO this morning and they introduced that Punk Rocker song as they favourite and is doing great things blah blah with the amount of airplay its getting of couse it is.

Not much luck today, mainly K mart seems to be the best in WA/

I am going to phone customer relations myself tomorrow. Staff don't seem to know anything.

There are other things I want exactly the same. I reckon its the Coles/Myer split that has messed up lots of things, I am going to ask that question anyway

I work at Kmart and we simply do not know what stock we are going to get when.....we have an idea of what we "SHOULD" be getting but we dont know how many or if we will get them in tike etc.


When I knew Guys single was coming out I attacked the Sony Rep every time I saw her and I think thats why I got a few copies in the store....
