JUST two months ago, Jimmy Barnes' son David Campbell and Idol diva Kate De Araugo were on for young and old, but now he has a new flame.
The son of the screecher man and the young diva were "kindred spirits'' who spent the night of the Logies together where they "bounced off walls and had an incredible time.''
So it was to our great surprise to see Campbell with a new beau on his arm at the opening night of Pirates of Penzance at the Opera House this week.
"Yes, it's 100 per cent over. They move on quickly these ones,'' celebrity agent David Champion, who manages both singers said yesterday.
And the new bird? Campbell's new kindred sprit is British babe Lisa Hewitt, the star of An Inspector Calls which played at Her Majesty's Theatre earlier this year.
The pair met through mutual friend actress Magda Szubanski (aka Sharon Strezlecki) in February this year but have apparently only sparked up their romance since Hewitt recently returned to live in Australia.
