All the top 12 performers for the Singapore Idol contest have now been chosen.
The final four were picked on Thursday from seven in the wildcard pool - two by the people through SMS and two by the judges.
Despite taking a gamble with Kelly Clarkson's 'Beautiful Disaster', the judges decided 17-year-old student Gayle Nerva should stay in the competition.
18-year-old Norman Then charmed the judges with 'These Are The Days' by Jamie Cullum.
Also in the people's choice was 23-year-old writer and film-maker Mathilda D'Silva who put on an emotional performance of 'Run To You' by Whitney Houston.
The second people's choice was music instructor, Jay Lim, who sang 'Solitaire' by Clay Aiken.
The four will now join the eight other contestants picked in the earlier rounds for the next leg of their Idol journey. - CNA/ch
