Marina Prior - Biography
Music Theatre star

Marina Prior is known as Australia's leading lady of musical theatre. Whilst studying for her Bachelor of Music, she auditioned for the Victoria State Opera's production of 'Pirates Of Penzance', and, depsite having no professional experience, she was cast in the lead role. The rest, they say, is history.
She has since performed the lead role in over twenty productions including 'CATS”', 'Les Misérable', 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'West Side Story' and 'Kiss Me, Kate' – for which she recently won a Green Room Award. Earlier this year, she received critical acclaim for her role in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s production of 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'.
Marina has recorded platinum and gold selling albums and has received numerous industry awards. Most recently she has been honoured with induction into Australia’s 100 Entertainers of the Century.
