"TWO years after winning Australian Idol, Casey Donovan could finally celebrate at a pub at the weekend after she turned 18 on Saturday.

And as you do after a few too many on your 18th, Donovan found the Dutch courage to mark the occasion with a tattoo.

``Yankee Dave'' at Sleevemasters Tattoo Studio in Kings Cross did the honours for Donovan, who chose a small musical note on her right shoulder blade.

By the time she got to the studio it seemed the milestone had been well celebrated, hence a fan's well-placed autograph on the singer's right boob."

Just so you all know, Casey said she actually hadn't been drinking before she got the tat. She got the tattoo on Friday night and she was driving so she definitely wasn't drinking! Then she went out on Saturday night to celebrate. Stupid media people always make up stuff to make the story sound better.

What a great idea. I love it and good on her.

Funny about the press, when will they get it right. At least she sounds like she knows how to handle them now.
