:banana :banana I have a 14 year old poodle who has slowly been going blind.
He had an op on his eye today and just like that he can see. OMG its so cool. :banana :banana :banana
That is SOOOOO good Rhonda. My cat went blinde over night last Christmas, a sudden rise in blood pressure, the vet told us, detatched his retinas. He was 20, would have been 21 in February, and we had to put him to sleep. It's the worst thing I've EVER had to do, and miss him sooooooooooooo much - but he couldn't have carried on like that, not at his age. So he's now in the garden, inbetween the trees. :(
So glad for you Rhonda....and sad for you Jay-el.
We had to put our old dog who was 19, to sleep awhile ago...it was like losing one of the family :(
It's awful. I still struggle with the tears when I pass the vets, but I know he's happily frollicking around "on the otherside".
