SAMANTHA Naday has always dreamed of singing her way to fame. Now she has her chance.

The 11-year-old Gold Coaster is hoping to join three other Australian girls eight to 14 as a member of a band and record an album for national release.
In an Australian first celebrating the launch of Barbie's new movie, the search is on for Australia's youngest all-girl pop group – Charmz.
"I am very excited. I have been practising for it," Samantha said.
"I absolutely love singing. I have ever since I was two . . . and I feel this is a great opportunity to reach my goals."
Barbie brand manager Amanda Allegos said the company was looking forward to discovering the talent pool of young Australians.
Girls can submit audition tapes for the chance to be selected as a Charmz member.
Four winners will be chosen and flown to Sydney to record the album, receive rock star treatment and a host of prizes.
Singer Ricki-Lee will mentor the finalists through the process.
Entries close May 12 and the album is set for release in the June-July school holidays.
