Shannon wants a crack at the big screen

HE MAY have rocked out the NOVA 919 listener party at the East End Exchange last night, but Shannon Noll is asking movie producers "what about me"?
The inaugural Australian Idol runner-up is itching to make a switch to the big screen, and he even has a few movie scripts, one in particular, he's keen on.
"I've wanted to do a film for a while," he says.
Shannon was quite the actor at school and even joined a drama club once he left.
"It's something I really love," he says of acting.
While he's sworn to secrecy about the film, he can reveal it's a drama, not a comedy, and he hopes to make it towards the end of this year, or early next year.
By then, he'll be a father of three - his wife Rochelle is four-months pregnant.
"I've been on tour for about three months," he says, "so I may not even have been home when it happened . . ." he jokes.
But there's no doubting his pride in his boys Cody, 4, and Blake, 3.
"I took them to one show and this is the result," he says, producing a video on his phone of Cody singing (complete with star jump and head thrashing) and Blake playing the drums.
