Hi this is a review our forum got from another board.
Thanks to all th staff and members who continue to make this a great place to be.
All though we dont need others to tell us this I was really happy with this and thought I would share it with you.
Its nice to know we are doing a good job from an outsiders point of view.



The skin is too much like the IF Default. It needs more colour. It needs to be centered as well. You have a lot of room to the right side of the page on my screen.

These are really good. It would have been 20 but the banner is too blurry. I like those pics in the forum descriptions. it is a nice touch.

For a forum that is only been around since November this is amazing. Nearly 20000 posts and over 250 members, Nice Work!

You do not have any real contests going on at the moment. The closest thing to a contest is forum games.

Again, flawless, ive never seen another Idol forum before so this gets full marks. Well done!

Pretty good. 2 admins is a good amount for a forum of your size, though one more wouldnt hurt. You do have a lot of forum mods which has bough your score down. Maybe promote a couple to Global Mods, maybe 3-4. And then demote most of whoevers left, because they do not really need to be there.

Being a former review staff member on a couple forums I say this guy is blind, sure the skin is blue, but that doesn't make it like the IF default.

My words exactally, lol...

the mods are fine, but there are quite a bit, and each mod only moderates 1 forum, so merging wouldn't be a bad idea. (and some rarely come on, and one is a u know what (talking to rhonda about this part))

He would of said it was an amazing touch if you used the ones I made to replace the old ones that I made for the Au idol and American idol..

Good review, thats about what I would give the board too, its just I dont see how he finds this like the IF default, this skin looks more like the IPB 2.0.0 default.

Don't know what he's saying by having to many mods though...23 of our sub forums are led by Admin as opposed to only 9 forums by other staff.

It's a good review indeed...especially as it's an impartial one.:)

He said it looks to much like the default skin. This is a default skin. So technically he was correct.
IPB being the paid for version of IF has certain upgrades which is why this skin looks very similar to the IF default.
A custom made skin or one that you could download from somewhere, this being IPB, would be beneficial to the board. But thats just my opinion.

this is not the default skin for any forum, it looks similar to a IPB 2.0.0 first of all it doesn't look the same, and 2nd this isn't a IPB 2.0.0.

But it has default buttons, colours, etc.

This is my forum review they gave me.

I think UIF should enter, they don't like default skins though, they really like originality, but they can really help improve your forum. Just signup and submit a review following their guidelines. :)

Im already signed up so I will.

I must tell you though we are looking at updating the skin.
I think afresh new approach ready for the start of Idol 4.
Nothing madly different and one that comes with buttons as well.
