So, I was determined to do it, and I did. My first Idol-related, non-Guy event..... Could I possibly be impressed after all I have seen of Guy lately.
Luckily, I so was. :D She's just so lovely and friendly to everyone. It makes me want to support her much more. ;)
I got there just before Ricki came on, so was towards the back of the line, but as there's a stage at Highpoint I still had a great view of her performance of her three singles (Hell No, Sunshine and Breathe). They sounded just great - there's no doubting the girl can sing, and shoppers were stopped in their tracks. :o :praise
It was great to hear that tour plans are the pipeline, possibly for July, and Ricki is sooo glowing with the engagement. Ricki was rapt to see so many copies of the Limited Edition "Breathe" single, and told me that it's her fave too, as each song was one take only, no re-mastering, etc. :cool
I got 3 singles, an album and a poster signed, and got a photo with Ricki. :o Unbelievable! Most other signings I've been to don't even allow photos, and push you through with one signed single, so it was so refreshing to watch Ricki talk to each and every person. :D Everyone who walked down from the stage had a smile on their faces, so got to have their special moment, even if it took Ricki nearly 2 hours to get through about 150 people. :P
She is so pretty too - see for yourself.... :P

So glad I went along. Ricki Lee is awesome. :D
